The Ghostly Beast Concept

This was a fun creature concept I had in mind for a long while. This creature use to live in a jungle with trees ranging high with twisting roots and branches. Beasts and travelers easily get lost within. Unless you stumble your way to a guiding spirit of beasts that long past. These spirits are easily recognized by small wisps that follow their trail guiding lost souls and the living through this jungle. 

I wanted to focus on my values for this illustration. It was quite a challenge catching many mistakes.  I'm excited to take what I learned and push forward into future illustrations!
