Fish Monster Barista Character Design

A character concept of a modern college sea creature college student who works in a local cafe in a mosnter town. I was inspired by the three Pixar movies Monster University, Luca, and Onward for the main design. Wanting to keep the focus on the main design, I stuck to greyscale values. Showcasing the design in greyscale was very challenging. I think I did decently well overall, but when I try this again, I should push hard vs soft shading to help diffrentiate each material.
